Why the long faces, guys? Ah yes, it's Sunday morning and time to pack up...the fun for the weekend must conclude and equipment must be packed. A grueling job indeed! Pictured is Dan Pontone and my father...probably discussing the many wonders of time and space while trying to forget about all that packing which has to be done! |
Nope, this isn't a bad scan...nope, there wasn't a forest fire...it was just plain fog-city at Camp Onas on Sunday morning for all the observers attending Stella-Della. It rolled in in sheets and blanketed everything in a thick layer of dew and rivulets of water. |
As hard as Sol tried to break through this pea-soup of a fog, he just couldn't do it. Later on though, the fog burnt off and yielded some sunshine to help dry everyones' equipment. Those impatient enough (Dan!) simply packed everything wet and headed home...sitting around a cloudy and foggy observing site is just plain disheartening and depressing! |
